How to Visualize Object Associations in Hubspot?

Associations can sometimes be complex, but thanks to HubSpot's latest update, you can now understand them with ease. This enhancement will enable you to visualize the connections between different object types, as well as their labels and limits.

WHY IS VIEWING ASSOCIATIONS IMPORTANT?

Because HubSpot continues to evolve and become more complex, it's essential that you understand and master the configuration of your data structure and its impact on their HubSpot users.

This enables you to see in concrete terms how your objects are linked in HubSpot.
Example: Contacts are linked to companies, and can be associated with several labels such as "former employee", "billing contact", etc. 

HOW DOES VISUALIZING ASSOCIATIONS WORK?

• Go to "Reports > Data management > Data model".
• Then click on an object card, for example, "contacts", and you'll see the configured labels.
• Simply hover over a label to obtain more information.
• To explore the association view, click on the arrows on the edge of the card or on an association label. 📊
• In this association view, you'll have access to all labels.  You can switch from one type of object to another, and even see the association in the opposite direction thanks to the "reverse" function.
